Meet Isabel, a recent U of T Psychology Graduate and Thomas & Co.’s “Face of Bold Courage” for the month of May.
Isabel’s Contribution: Little Angels Service Dogs
Isabel is a new member of the Thomas & Co. community. This month, her, Thomas, and Victoria spoke about how living with an invisible disability versus a visible one can come with different types of challenges, but has some positives as well. Isabel expressed to us how her aid, her service dog Ruby, is the best part of having a disability as she educated us on the importance and value of service dogs. Then, she and Thomas offered some words of wisdom to those who find themselves seeking to approach people with visible disabilities respectfully and with kindness.
Little Angels Service Dogs is a nonprofit organization focused on helping provide service dogs to those with various types of disabilities including people with Autism, diabetes, epilepsy, and more.
