Meet Clare, Thomas & Co.’s “Face of Bold Courage” for the month of June.
Clare’s Contribution: Daily Bread Food Bank
Clare is an old friend, but a new member of the Thomas & Co. community. This month, her, Thomas, and Kassandra taste tested a variety of celiac friendly (gluten free certified) snacks from both the United States and Canada. Clare, like Thomas, lives with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder triggered by the consumption of gluten. Although transitioning to a gluten free diet and finding good quality products is often challenging, once you do the world tends to get a little brighter (even if you have to travel to another country to stock up on them).
Considering food insecurity is a huge issue in today’s climate, but an even bigger problem for those with food allergies and restrictions, allocating 5% of your order to Clare’s contribution would allow the Thomas & Co. community to help those in need by providing allergen friendly options.
